Crown Point Ventures Ltd. (TSX.V CWV) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has
closed the $2,196,851 private placement announced on December 17, 2010, consisting of the
sale of 1,417,323 common shares at a price of $1.55 per share. All of the shares issued pursuant
to this private placement are subject to a hold period in Canada expiring on April 25, 2011. The
proceeds from this private placement will be used to fund the Company’s ongoing capital
program in Argentina and for general corporate purposes.
The Company also announces that it has filed the Statement of Reserves and Other Oil and Gas
Information in respect of its oil and gas properties effective as of September 30, 2010, as
prepared by Gaffney, Cline and Associates Inc., of Houston, Texas and related documents as
required by National Instrument 51-101 (“Standards of Disclosure for Oil and Gas Activities”)
