VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 10, 2009) - Crown Point Ventures Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CWV) has been cash called by the operator to participate in the drilling and completion of a Bakken well in south east Saskatchewan. The Company's working interest is 47.5% and offsets the well that they participated in last year. Mobilization of the drill rig is schedule for Monday, June 15th. Drilling is expected to take three days.
The Company's operator in Manitoba has informed them that they expect to drill one to three horizontal Bakken wells this summer in the Daily field. The first is expected to spud in late June to early July. The Company has a 25% working interest in the first well.
