| Crown Point Announces Closing of the Sale of its Sinclair Field Assets |

Vancouver, B.C. – Crown Point Ventures Ltd. (TSX.V: CWV) (the “Company”) announces, further
to its News Release dated September 29, 2008, that it has received final acceptance from the TSX
Venture Exchange for the sale of its Sinclair Field assets, and that it has closed the sale of those
assets to Tundra Oil & Gas Partnership, an arm’s-length purchaser. Total proceeds received by the
Company, including adjustments, amounted to $6,464,830.
