Crown Point Ventures Ltd. (the “Company”) (TSX.V: CWV) announces that it has closed the
$1,001,000 private placement announced on November 16, 2006, consisting of the sale of
1,540,000 units at a price of $0.65 per unit, each unit consisting of one flow-through common
share and one share purchase warrant, with each warrant entitling the holder to purchase one
additional common share for a period of 2 years from closing, at a price of $0.75 until December
19, 2007, and thereafter at a price of $1.00 until December 19, 2008.
All of the securities issued in connection with the closing of this private placement are subject to
a hold period in Canada until April 20, 2007.
