Crown Point Ventures Ltd., “the Company”, is pleased to announce that they have spudded the
fourth well of their eight well summer/fall drill program in South West Manitoba. This well
drilled through the Mississippian formation to test both the Lodgepole and Bakken zones. This
well offsets the three previous wells drilled earlier that produced 124 barrels of oil per day in
September (59 barrels of oil per day net to the Company). This will be the 22nd well in Manitoba
that the Company has participated in without a failure.
In Texas, the Cleveland test well has finished drilling. There were no signs of recoverable
hydrocarbons and the well was plugged and abandoned.
