Crown Point has natural gas and oil production from two areas in Argentina, the Austral Basin in the Province of Tierra del Fuego and in the Golfo San Jorge Basin in the Province of Santa Cruz.
Crown Point's Tierra del Fuego assets are world class natural gas producing assets with significant development and exploration growth opportunities. Cerro de Los Leones in the Neuquén Basin is being developed to pursue large upside conventional oil and gas and non-conventional Vaca Muerta oil shale exploration opportunities.
The Golfo San Jorge Basin assets are low risk oil production and development opportunities.
The company is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta and is led by Murray D. McCartney, Arthur Madden and Dr. Brian Moss. Mr. McCartney and Mr. Madden are formerly the CEO and CFO respectively of both Cavell Energy Inc. and Adamant Energy Inc., Dr. Moss has had 19 years of experience in Latin America and was previously Executive Vice-President Latin America with Antrim Energy Inc. The Argentine subsidiary is led by Mateo Turic, with 35 year of production and development history in Argentina and elsewhere in Latin America, having been the former director of exploration and development for YPF.
